it just means „cooling water“.

„Gefällt mir“ ist nicht der richtige Ausdruck. Ich denke eher, es passt „es ist beeindruckend“. Mysteriös und zugleich bedrückend.
Ein Bild muss auch nicht unbedingt schön sein. Im Gegenteil freue ich mich immer , wenn bei dem Betrachter Emotionen ausgelöst werden, gute wie schlechte gleichermaßen.

Thank you for liking „Merry Christmas!“ For me, the woman in black in this painting makes me think about the deaths and suffering caused by nuclear power plant disasters over the years such as Fukushima and Chernobyl. While there is some recovery from these disasters, life in the affected areas is never the same. Something is permanently lost.
