Such a curious image. What is it? I get a sense of peeking into layers of materials but not quite sure what’s there…
You’re right. This series started with a photo session with a huge pile of differnt materials, mostly textiles but also including, among others, nylon, bottles and garbage bags. After the printing of the photo I try to find and carve out some structures hidden in the print and highlight them with acrylics.

Nirgends. Aber bei dem Haufen Stoff welche diese dunklen Stelle (eine Höhle?) umgibt, steigt mir der Geruch von Maus in die Nase!
Ah, jetzt verstehe ich es auch. Du darfst dich jederzeit gerne auf die Suche nach Mäusen in meinen Bildern begeben.
