I like this one alot. Something captivated me at first look.
Thank you, I’m really glad you like it. I had this painting recently in an exhibition and got very diverse responses.
I think it is the pinky/purple against the dark that grabs my eyes first, then they swim gently down the greens in front. Top marks!
Chapeau!
The colors and subject echo to me an old zen saying: “not always so”. Thanks
Thank you. Now I have something to think about.

Thank you for sharing!
The work is strong. Recent paintings are visually arresting. I think you are bringing forth archetypal responses in your viewers. Excellent.
Thank you so much. This is a very interesting thought. Could you explain what your archetypal response is?
I expressed myself poorly. Let’s try this. When I look at your work, I first notice that I look at the color and composition. It’s pleasing so I keep looking. Then I notice the content, or the subject matter and it is mysterious. Who is that woman? (She looks older, a grandmother figure perhaps) Then there is the snake and the mushrooms. What is their relationship in these woods? I keep looking but cannot directly find the answers. At this point the archetypes in me: older woman, snake, nature, mushrooms are activated and send the messages that have no language. It is an emotional recognition. This recognition will be different for any one person but it comes from the deep internal archetypes housed within all of us. This is of course very Jungian. If you don’t like C.G. Jung you can safely ignore what I am saying. In my opinion, your work is wonderfully engaging and I hope some day to see it person.
Thank your for the detailed explanation, and it is isn’t poor at all. I don’t think that art must necessarily be understandable, but it is important for me that I have a story for a painting. I trie to achieve that viewers can feel it, in a way, when there is more to a piece then just some random objects on a canvas. My aim is to embed a certain something deep into the painting. Needlessly to say, that I fail in most cases. So I have to carry on practising.
I think the key is to capture the viewers attention from the first glimpse. That is done with good form which you have.
OH MY GOD!!!! I LOVE this!!! Seriously phenomenal! All of it. I could stare at this for hours, my mind instantly started writing stories about her. SO cool. Wow. Thank You and Cheers!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much! Feel free to write a story. I’m interested what the painting evoces in you.
Wow! I am crazy busy right now, but I very well may take You up on that sometime!!! Thank You for the permission! 🤗
No pressure! All the best

Sehr surrealistisch (oder eher phantastisch) ?
Gut!
Was denkst du denn?
Magic mushrooms indeed. (K)
Very creative work, well done!
Thank you so much, Phil!
Wunderbar!
Ein Bild, welches mich sofort anspricht.
Idee, Farben, Geschichte und Atmosphäre….einfach super!
Vielen Dank. Mich freut dein Kommentar, ganz besonders bei diesem doch etwas sperrigen Bild, sehr.
