Anthrogamie

Ein Projekt von Esther Maldener, Martin Ney und Michael Ehrhardt

In der Botanik bezeichnet man die Bestäubung von Pflanzen durch Tiere, wie zum Beispiel Bienen, als Zoogamie. Eine seltene Sonderform, wie sie aktuell etwa in China erfolgt, ist die Bestäubung durch den Menschen. Sie heißt Anthrogamie.

Im Zuge der  „Schönen Künste #8“ hatten alle Besucher unserer Ausstellung die Möglichkeit mit unserer Kunst bedruckte Papierwürfel zu basteln und in die Welt hinaus zu tragen. Ähnlich wie eine Biene den Pollen einer Blüte zur nächsten bringt und diese befruchtet, konnten die Ausstellungsbesucher mit unserer Kunst ihre Umgebung  „befruchten“. Einzige Auflage war es, uns ein Foto des neuen Aufenthaltsortes des Würfels per mail zukommen zu lassen. Von der Resonanz waren wir ganz überwältigt. Wir danken allen Teilnehmern für Ihre Mitarbeit an diesem Projekt. Hier eine kleine Auswahl der uns zugesandten Bilder:

 

Anthrogamy

In botany the pollination of plants by animals is called zoogamy. A rare special form, how it is currently practised in China, is the pollination by men. It’s called anthrogamy.

During the „Schönen Künste #8“ all visitors of our exhibition had the possibility to handicraft a cube, printed with our art and to take it out into the world. Like a bee bringing the pollen from one blossom to another and to pollinate it thereby, the visitors could „pollinate“ their environment with our art. The only  condition was to send us a photo of the new residence of the cube. We were overwhelmed by the response. We thank all participants of the project. Here is a small selection of the pictures:
